Blackwork Tattoos
From tribal to ink wash, blackwork tattooing is diverse in style as well as look. Gifford's approach takes a more ornamental look, oftentimes combining the flowing elements seen in some of his biomechanical tattooing, and mixing it with large undefined shapes giving it a more abstract look. He is currently looking to push this work further with heavier black and more ornamental elements.
